Still Life - White Series

I am drawn to the delicate and sculptural beauty of the plant world, from dried and shriveled leaves and bare branches to sticks, seedpods, seaweed, and berries. In this series, these natural elements are arranged and partially submerged in a shallow container filled with a translucid water-based solution and then frozen. Once the liquid transforms into ice, I photograph the end result.
